Tue, 1 August 2006 A podcast is an audio file in MP3 format.
That's the format most online music is available in, and it's the same
kind of file most MP3 players, like the popular iPod, can play.
So, you can listen to podcasts anywhere you listen to your music: at work, at school, running, walking or commuting. Just download and go. Or, just click on the POD icon on any of the podcasts below and listen on your PC through speakers or headphones. We've even given you a built-in player (down and on the right) you can use to listen with. And, as you'll see below, you can subscribe to a podcast so fresh editions will be sent to you automatically. Podcasting was launched about 18 months ago by former MTV VJ Adam Curry (aka "The Podfather"). There are now about 19,000 podcasts available worldwide. You can discover them at ipodder.org. You can also check out the most popular podcasts at podcastalley.com. Hope you enjoy this and other podcasts! Category: general -- posted at: 8:27 PM Comments[66] |
